Timmy Jones is the drummer for Remedy Drive. In 2010, Remedy Drive toured with the Rock and Worship Roadshow, with artists such as David Crowder Band, MercyMe, Family Force 5, Fee, and Sidewalk Prophets. They also performed on the very first In The Middle Of Nowhere Youth Invasion at His Place: Cathedral of Faith. Timmy and the band not only put on a concert but performed praise and worship for the entire youth conference.

 

1. Starting out what were your musical influences and what are they now?

i listened to alot of franki valli and the four seasons. my dad loved them. also hendrix and The Who were the early influences. now, i love all music. it all has some sort of effect on me.

2. If you could only listen to one band and one band only while touring across the country in your bus who would it be?

coldplay. they've been my favorite band for almost 10 years now. never get tired of them.

3. What is the best thing about playing in band? Not so best?

the best thing is the comradery. the not so best is the egos in disagreement. but if you have any creative contributions whatsoever, your ego is always at risk.

4. If you could be a super hero for one day, who would it be and why?

spider-man. i've been a fan of that guy ever since i couldn't talk. why? everybody picks superman. that's too easy.

5. The bible story you turn to most often for personal encouragement?

anything having to do with the life of david. he was a musician, a servant, a king, a man after god's own heart, and a sinner who made horrible mistakes that cost lives. every story points to God's grace and compassion, even in David's times of running from god.
